This is probably off-topic but the end will be connected to the feature

I had the weirdest thing happen involving pausing a flight.

I was flying SEA-ORD and an incident happened (I won’t go into detail) and I turned off my device, I didn’t pause the game, I just turned off my device.

I returned to my device maybe 3-4 days later and I turned it on and my flight was paused and I finished the flight, after 3-4 days.

Anyways, end of story time…

We definitely need this, I always find myself starting flights but not finishing them because of time, and I would love to be able to pause and return to it when I can!

Nice, I hope IF’s dev will make this feature. I only have an iPhone 12 and can’t use it for another work while flying long distance!!!

I gotta love that idea for real. It’s annoying when you set a 12 hour flight and then you remember “Oh no i forgot to do something that I need my phone for”. Hope sometime someday it will be implemented to the game.

No, in the next release, it would be saving your progress and leaving before continuing the flight.

This feature request is for leaving the app and have the plane fly in the background as a background app.

Maybe we will see this in the future.
It should at least exist for solo flights as that doesn’t require any live user connection.

No. Flight resume lets you pause your flight, this feature suggests that you can leave your flight but it the plane is still moving

Oh so an evolution of flight resume
Probably have to be above 30k ft and certain destination from your airport
