Latest route to OMDB

Hey all, as you would all be aware of the war/ conflict taking place in the middle east and airlines having to reroute their flight avoiding airspace and I just would like to share the latest flight path used by west bound flights flying to OMDB for people out there seeking realism. The approach for 30L will be DATO4D from waypoint MITIX joining to DB533 from the approach so make sure to delete those waypoints before DB533 and for R12L it will be waypoint EGTAG and using DATO1E approach and from waypoint ODLAL. Remeber for 12L app you can extend the downind as you would want to if needed. Small update you can slightly alter your flight plan like for example VOR fix WEJ and BDB can be connect through the airways or as DCT if you want as well but the track or airways used is the same for now.

For departures westbound it’s quite straightforward the departure would be KUTL4F for 30R and KUTL4G for 12R.

Thanks for this info, I’ll be monitoring airspace closures and will reference this if needed when I continue my Emirates routes/destinations flights!

Thanks again for the up to date, real time information for DXB. I find it unusual that they go that far off line, flying around Egypt instead of straight lining it to Europe.

Increased drone activity in Iraq and if I’m right the air turbulence seems to be high on the usual route hence maybe flying via cairo? The airspace closures also might be another factor which made most of the flights deviate from their orginal path yesterday. They could also be avoiding israel airspace all togthere due to strikes.

Currently the airspace is open hence flights are back via usual route.

…I am speechless. This will be a really huge help

I’m thinking if I should become a flight dispatcher

Hello, @Realistic_Flights

If You’re at the point of wondering. Try. Try and see if you really like this or not. You will only learn from this experience.

I should probably research more about this first and maybe then I’ll get more clarity if it’s for me or not. Also, not sure the risk involved in this are brutal or something considering it’s their job to provide a safe and efficient flight plan.
