Last time?

Announced back in June, American Airlines will (for the time being) remove ALL wide bodies flying between Miami 🏝️😎 and Los Angeles 🌴📸 with the last widebody flight being on September 3rd on the flagship Boeing 777-300ER and I decided that today I’d fly the B77W from MIA to LAX one final time…

sorry for poor quality, every time I’d try to upload the picture from my phone it would give me an error but it worked fine after airdropping it to my Mac

I flew it every once in a while with many B77Ws and one Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner and I’ll still fly it on a similar basis just with A321s or 737s

lovely shot!

This was a very fun route to fly with the 777. Just a nice domestic flight in a big plane. Nice pic!

Yea the flight is only like 4:30 from LAX-MIA and close to 5 hrs MIA-LAX. Not crazy long but not short either

This took me 4 hours and 38 minutes including a 360 (cruised at Mach 0.84)

Great picture 😎 I’ve flew LAX-MIA in the SIM myself once or twice l, it’s a nice little route to stretch the 77W legs, hopefully we can do this route with 737 Max 8 soon 👀

For sure although for a transcontinental flight, I’d prefer to use the A321neo since it’s slightly more spacious.
