An extremely bitter sweet moment right now, I have landed for the last time working for my current company. For those who didn’t hear I was furloughed this having me lose my job. I worked for a year with the company I was at.
We just literally landed about 10 minutes ago from my last flight, here’s some shots from a Bell 206L4
The first three pictures are from the Nike Missile site.
I’m so sorry; I hope your last flight was a memorable one! Have you been able to find any other pilot jobs yet?
Great shots my friend! Though I am sad to see you lose this job that I know you enjoy so much, I’m sure you’ll find one that you enjoy even more in the future. Godspeed!
Those are some nice shots, hope you can find a good job.
Seems sad. Nice you got a better job. (I don’t know if you did.)
no more helis wipes tear
Yes - I’m going be working for a company called ACE out here it’s another 135 Operation
Seems Nice. Flying anything else?
Yeah they’re a good company, Had a good mentor recommend me to them, I have some real nice bonus/benefits including CASS again which I will totally abuse lol
Going be flying the R22/44 on the side still.
Those are some great pictures, I wish you well with the new company!
Hope to see you posting pictures with the new company on the IFC.
Goodluck @anon93248082
Shame to hear you were fired! No more interesting shots from Alaska…I hope you find luck somewhere else!
Wasn’t fired lol
Furloughed, sorry.
Lol all good!
From know your flying fixed wing right?
Do not say such a thing! 😂
Expect some cool fixed wing pictures, I promise I won’t try make them too boring (but it’s fixed wing so ya can’t help that)
Dang brother, hate to hear that. Sure you don’t want to come a little (maybe a lot) East to sunny Myrtle beach? I know some people that would probably hire you to fly the R44 or another gig doing line cutting with a saw blade
I’d take it in a heart beat, I’m looking at trying fly in Washington this upcoming summer on the old S55
Or you could fly a plane showing ad banners along the coast haha
Some great shots mark.
