Laser Attacks

This seems to be happening more and more often. I don’t see what the gain of shining a laser into a plane is.

No idea. But I have to ask… does anyone know if it is, really, logically, honestly dangerous when done with a commercially available laser? Also, how do they find out who did it?

Yes it is very dangerous as it can blind a pilot. They usually find the guy buy using a helicopter to see where the laser originates.

Ah I see. I was thinking if they only shined it at one or two planes and then stopped. If they continue for an hour or whatever, I guess this could be done to find them.

Yeah the guy shined it long enough to get caught

Lol good one

The gain people is:

Person with laser: “HUHUH I just shown a laser on a plane I can go tell all my beer buddies how bloody awesome I am!”

Partner in crime: “I know right we’re so rad bro!!”

A co-pilot of a plane in the UK (I think British Airways) has been blinded by a laser last night.
