Landings for grade 2

Hey guys,
Lately I have been trying really hard to get landings for grade 2. I have 17 landings and I think I need 25 landings for grade 2. I have meet all of the grade 2 requirements except for the lanndings. Does anyone know how to get more landings faster? Please let me me know. Thanks!

Here is an awesome tutorial on patterns. Don’t only do patterns though, fly the world and become a better pilot. It always helps to relax and not rush to the next grade. Learn the rules and fly different aircraft. These will help you become the best pilot you can be.

Patterns are basically a series of touch and goes. Take off from a runway, make left or right traffic, do a touch and go, repeat.

How to fly a (visual) pattern

A pattern can be flown in different ways. First of all, you will be cleared to fly a left or right hand pattern. I’m going on casual to rack up landings right now near KMIA. There are lots of airports around and the terrain is mostly flat. Pick a starting point and just fly around!

Just go to any airport and do a ton of T&G’s. You should have grade 2 in no time🙂.

@Frostybanana Goto “FJDG” it’s in middle of Indian Ocean…no need to taxi you already start on runway, do pattern… there are many airports like that in the middle of ocean.

KORD, hop to each runway, just make sure that hen you take off you get high enough to be considered a landing.

Try Madrid (LEMD) for touch and go. Takeoff out of 32L with a TBM or other prop aircraft.

Then fly high and you should see the runway in front. Look on map for help. It’s very good airport for touch and go and I highly reccomend it :)

Hey yes do a lot of pattern work I enjoy doing pattern work with the A320 because I pilot only the A320 on IF if you enjoy a specific aircraft try pattern work with that it wil get you use to the aircraft and landing I also wondered when am I gonna reach grade 2 but it take a lot of flying and dedication im going for Grade 4 and believe me it’s a lot of hard work but also fun

I would recommend doing lots of pattern work and tough and goes. The next 8 landings will come quickly-assuming you haven’t already gotten it :)

Go to KFLO do figure 8s with a Cessna in casual server you should be able to get grade 2 landings in 30 mins

I recommend doing patterns (making 8s) at KNRC (Nasa Crows Landing) with Cessna Citation X. You will get many landings and also XPs.
