The idea came in my mind to initiate a landing contest with players sending in a short clip (30 seconds max) of their most awesome butter landing. The winner will be the video with the most “heart likes” and will even receive a trophy with the player’s name engraving and the name of the event, assumed the player is willing to DM private name and address. I hope that doesn’t violate any IF rules. If it does maybe IF staff can handle that somehow via e-mail.
I will send the trophy from Germany and pay for the shipping fee world wide.
Deadline will be Jan 31st. The trophy will be send in February.
The clips needs to be in a good perspective that shows the landing accurate. The better the perspective, the better the landing, the better for the player :)
One more thing: NO light aircrafts, everything from A220 and A318 or B737 upwards is required. Also allowed are Embraers, all Bombardiers CRJ models and the Dash-8, but NOT the Challenger 350. And also NO military aircrafts.
Very good question. I just tried to upload a video and it does not work. My bad. I thought “screenshots and videos” meant that we can upload videos here.
Unfortunately I don’t have an own channel. Jason from IF just answered and uploading videos here directly is not possible.
I think the idea uploading them on Streamable is a good one. Creating an account there is done quickly and then player can send the link of their uploaded video here in the topic.
