Hey IFC, I did a short flight from KMDW to KDTW. When I landed, it was kinda bad. Any tips to make a smoother landing? Thanks for your help!

Make sure you are confident in your approach! Remember if you don’t feel confident you can always go around!

The key to a good landing is a stable approach. Make sure you’re calm and confident. Learn to become aware of and eliminate tension in your muscles, particularly in your fingers and arms. This will help you control the aircraft better and fly in a smooth manner.

@KindaTartySliceOfPie. MaxSez: “KISS” is the key; 1) Never do a “Short Final” in a Trash Hauler. 2) On Speed all the way down 3) Fly the “Ball”. 4) landing are 2 Steps processes; “Round Out” Then “Flair”.
5) Practice, Practice, Practice at a remote field then when confident fly to Controlled aerodromes.
