As an infinite flight user for years (even though I didn’t get to subscribe consistently throughout the years too) that flies between only sunrise and sunset, this by far is so much needed because I didn’t even want to land on a dark night with only 2D unilluminating orbs of taxilights and runway lights, the environment is just sad, if atmosphere/clouds/fogs were to be added along with the illumination of the lights would be a game-breaking game-changer. Not to mention the PAPI lights are still 2, MAKE IT 4 HAHA! And also, another thing about lights, CITY NIGHT LIGHTS! Just imagine the atmosphere illuminated by the city lights, covering by a few volume of clouds while flying above, it would be the best…ever

true i miss when some aircraft would have cabin lighting at night and now its more hard to see at night

This is a great feature request!
Landing and taxi lights that actually illuminate the ground would make a huge difference in simulation. This would greatly increase realism, especially when flying at night or at poorly lit airports. As mentioned, this feature would also improve visibility for other pilots, making it easier to maintain situational awareness on taxiways and landing strips.
I believe that implementing this feature would improve the overall experience for the community, especially for those who enjoy flying at night or challenging low visibility approaches. I voted for this idea and hope it gains even more traction.
This feature should have been implemented a long time ago, IF is way behind on this feature.
