What is the LAM?
On some newer aircraft, most notably the 737 MAX, a system called the Landing Attitude Modifier (LAM) automatically deploys spoilers on approach, which slightly disrupts wing lift, and pushes the nose up. On aircraft like the MAX, specifically the MAX 10, this helps reduce the probability of a flat landing, due to the longer nose gears. The LAM also helps correct the glideslope automatically.
Why I think this should be in Infinite Flight
By incorporating the LAM into Infinite Flight, landing aircraft such as the 737 MAX would be more accurate due to a corrected pitch.
Another reason is for enhanced realism. By introducing the LAM, it would take some load off of pilots who have to manually extend the spoilers to the FLIGHT position to lose altitude. This is an extra responsibility that can be distracting at times.
