Landing at -1200 fpm, Is it a safe landing?

So today I accidentally goofed up a landing at Sydney during the Friday night flight and for some reason, was not able to flare when I wanted to, ended up touching down hard at -1000 to -1200 fpm (don’t know the exact number). Anyway I just wanted to know if this still would be considered a safe landing, I know it is definitely a hard landing and definitely not the smoothest but I just wanted to know that in real life it hopefully would have been injury free as long as people were strapped in. I can’t seem to find this stuff on google so that is why I am asking the community about it because I’ll admit it, there are a lot of things I still do not know about aviation.

It would definitely damage the aircrafts landing gear. Maybe not significantly but it would not safe.
