So i am coming into landing just about to Land Plane an turn off Ap and then Press Calibrate before that do i just hold my Ipad down a little bit and hold it still or do i keep it Straight an still.
Some times it works some times it does not then the plane will go up or down.
Need Help a Little any one?
You should always calibrate your device before you turn autopilot off… It’s normal for the plane to either raise or dip a little bit once deactivated, especially if you are partway through a descent.
Perhaps one of the easiest thing I find is to level out slightly before disengaging, should give you a smoother transition between AP and manual flight.
Best way to learn is to play around with it yourself and see what you’re comfortable with… There’s not really any right or wrong way to do it 😃
Ye Thanks for the Help bro now back to Flying Air New Zealand planes have a good one
Play around with the trim too. If you get the trim right, it’ll be a smooth transition.
@Dan_77 What does celebrate do
*calibrate
It aligns the yoke with your current X and Y axis of your device, so that you don’t pitch up/down or roll crazily when you disable autopilot. You can find the button in the pause menu 🙂
This will help, thanks :D
Funny I’ve never ever used trim and never ever even touched in for the 7 years I’ve played in this game 😂😂
It’s lovely stuff. Try ~30% on planes at first, some will need more some less, depending on weight. I know the CRJ and DC/MD series need more (50-70%).
Using trim works well for me and if your trim is even it should be a smooth transition but just before you disengage AP hold your iPad in a comfortable position and if I can be honest I’ve never calibrated my ipad before landing, but I always do calibrate before I take off and I’ve never had a problem, but trimming the plane does help a lot. Let us know how it goes, good luck and safe landings.
First, make sure you do it before you turn off before you disable AP.
If it does not calibrate, go to settings then controls. It will show you your current angle, roll and yaw status, when your device is in the middle it should be close to 0 or exactly. If its not and its calibrated, you can adjust this by changing the null zone sensitivity.
Have the device at a comfortable position when you calibrate the device. It will become you’re neutral position once you have finish calibrating the device.
