[Landed Safe] Post Malone’s Aircraft blows tires at KTEB during take off

It has been recently reported that a private jet with 16+ people has blown two tires on takeoff and is circling teterboro (maybe burning fuel?). The aircraft (Gulfstream IV) was planning to travel to London, and is expected to land within a couple of minutes.

TLDR entire thread: The aircraft is carrying famous rapper Post Malone, originally planning to go to London. After blowing both left tires at Teterboro Airport during take off, the aircraft flew over Teterboro and Bridgeport Airports to burn fuel. Now, they are overhead Stewart Airport, attempting to burn more fuel and land.

More info will be posted as it becomes available.

Are they continuing to the destination?

No. They are holding over Teterboro. At second glance, it was probably so emergency services could get in place.

Update: the plane is being diverted to Massachusetts, where it will be landing.

Are there any updates yet on the status? Have they almost arrived?

Anyone know the frequency it is on?

@racerclc it is holding over Bridgeport CT.

@Alfster it is either in Bridgeport’s APPR freq or Boston Center (south).

As much as I appreciate your love for Post Malone, there are 15 other passengers on this aircraft that are in exactly the same situation who deserve as much recognition.
I bid the pilot good luck and will be watching intently to see the outcome of this landing.
