Welcome back to my flight series in which I’m exploring tall the world has to offer on all sorts of airlines! Today was Delta edition.

We yet again arrived to the airport early enough to see our ride to Milwaukee pull into the gate, a 15.1 year-old CRJ-900LR. For our 2 hour flight we’d be in seat 8D today, just ahead of the right wing.
Seated and taxiing now, this seat is Delta’s standard regional seat, with a standard tray table, good sized seat back pocket, and comfortable space. Not too roomy but perfectly fine for a regional jet.
Takeoff!
Just after takeoff we get Central Park right out the window! Really good view of the city, and I have an empty seat next to me too!
About 1.5 hours later and we’ve got another Delta hub off our wing, with KPTK somewhere out in the distance. @Brttttttttt5 The cabin crew came through with drinks and cookies, and I accepted a Coke and a cookie happily!
Out over Lake Michigan now, starting our decent into Milwaukee, in the state that is considered the Cheese and Bratwurst and corn Capital!
Say Hello to DT Milwaukee, we’ve been cleared for the ILS that takes us right past city center! We got a great view of Marquette University and the Arts center on our way in.
A nice, smooth landing into MKE, and I must say this flight was a very solid performance for Delta. The F/As were nice, the seat was decent, and the cookie was delicious, and I can’t wait to fly them long-haul soon enough!
De-planed at the D gates. (This time there is simply no jet bridge lol) Next stop is Chicago, where we’ll be headed to Europe aboard a KLM 787-10. Stay tuned for that!
