I have recently been experiencing lag (sometimes significant) towards the end of a long haul flight (specifically flying the Boeing 777-300ER). This has happened on my last two flights, both flying into LAX, flying the 77W, flights were over 11 hours, and the lag happened near approach/landing. On my first flight, the lag was more significant upon approach, but then settled down a little bit upon landing (LAX was a bit busy that day, but its been better even with more people). On my flight today, approach was fine, there were only 3-4 aircraft at LAX (upon approach and landing), but lag was VERY significant upon flare (almost forcing me to go around).
My device is a 2018 iPad Pro 12.9 inch. I have a very good WiFi connection, and had no apps running in the background. I don’t know if this is affecting any other aircraft, at any other airports, or on any other devices (as I have not tried yet). The issue has only be going on for about 2 days now. I would love to see a hot fix for this, as it is (understandably) quite frustrating. I looked over my replay files, and the lag doesn’t seem show up in them, but I have linked them down below anyway. Thanks for the help!
