Lag/FPS drop after first Hotfix

Device: 2019 iPad Pro (11-inch) iOS 14.3

Issue. Since the first Hotfix for the ATC issue, I’ve been experiencing sudden drops in FPS. On some devices this happens when it can’t handle the graphics or if too many aircraft are on the screen. However, I always run IF on max graphics and Very High Aircraft count without a hint of lag. I noticed this issue immediately after the first hot fix. I was able to consistently replicated it by going to the normal outside camera and rotating it to face another direction. After about a second, the game will drop FPS for about 3 seconds. This also occurred, however, in the cockpit view seemingly randomly. The issue seemed to get worse as the flight ran longer. After the second hot fix which came out today, I was unable to replicate it by rotating the outside camera. It seems to have become more random. Aircraft count is not a factor as I experienced this in empty airspace and airports. I cleared cache in case it was beginning to take a toll, but that was also not a factor. I verified I had stable internet throughout the entire flight. The sim is still usable, but given the device I am using and as it began after the first hot fix, I don’t believe it is my device that’s the issue. I apologize for the short novel but I just wanted to be be as specific as possible to make it easier to understand fully. Thanks.

I see you cleared your cache but did you reboot your device?

I hadn’t. I just gave it a try and viewed a replay since it persists in replays. Still had it. It looks like it slowly gets worse the longer the app is open.

I experience the same. I have strong lags every now and then but constantly noticeable FPS drops on the ground (iPad Pro 2018)

I have the same problem. iPad Pro 2020. I’ve tried to reboot the iPad and clear cache. Reinstalling the app does not fix it neither. It seems to be something related with the hot fix, but the random fps drop is more severe with the second hotfix. Hopefully it can be solved early :)

I also experience the same Issue I have a iPad 8th gen and it runs great at Max but now after the hotfix my frames drop hard and it lags and makes the experience just that bit less enjoyable. I have reset my cache and rebooted my device. If this can be fixed I will be really grateful

So is staff going to take a look at this or do I have to email them? I haven’t had to make a support topic before so I’m not sure how this works.

I’m having the same problem on my 2020 iPad Pro. Clearing the cache, restarting the app, etc don’t do anything. I never really experience the problem at cruise but i experience lag and strong FPS drops on the ground, takeoff, and approach often; even at airports with absolutely no one else. Was really bad last night leaving PHLI (Lihue, HI) and again this morning arriving at KJFK with two other pilots on the ground.

Just noticed the FPS dropped massively whilst landing the 737 in ANC. Had never seen it laggy at all but this time it was quite pronounced.
