Hello everyone! Today we are making an event on the island of Kure, at the Northwestern islands of Hawaii. This airfield is absolutely not known and is forgotten in the Pacific.

This island was built as an airfield in WW2, as the attack of pearl habour happened and wa slater used by reasearchefs and coast guard. Since 1993 it has been left to rot and I don’t think any humans were there since years so why not give this atoll some more popularity?
Were gonna fly off from Kure atoll (PM64) to fly around it and then en-route to midway atoll (PMDY), make some touch & goes back to Kure atoll and as a cherry on the top I will be landing an A318 at this airport.

This will attend at 18:00 Zulu time at the 12th of December 2023. We will fly P38, C172, C208, TBM-930, and A318

Feel free to use your favourite GA aircraft and make as many touch and goes as you want, it’s your choice in this event.
