I’ll be there in just a minute my callsign will be N172ME

Hey if I were you I’d start at a smaller airport and build your way up. Anyways, if your open in an hour I may swing by :)

I have already experience with ATC it’s just that I created my ATC tracking thread for people to know where I’m at.
But anyway, thanks for the tip. Much appreciate 👍

I would suggest just like @Asher said to open a smaller airport and when you open an open to also control the ground frequency along with tower. When you give permission to an aircraft to cross an active runway and there is no one on it adding the “please expedite” command is unnecessary but when you have a plane on final or lined up and ready for takeoff you should up it and when giving me clearance to land instead of saying cleared to land you should say cleared for the option and give me a pattern entry

Hello. I was going to fly patterns but something personal came up and I needed to leave quick, but some feedback I got from the short time I was there:

• You initially told me to taxi to 16L. I don’t think this instruction makes sense, as it would involve me going all the way to the opposite side of the airfield and require a runway crossing. It is your discretion, but since 16R was literally right next to my parking spot, I think it would be more suitable for an efficient departure.

• The “contact Sydney tower on 119.XX” instruction is unnecessary as this is already included in the taxi instruction: “8-SMRT, taxi to runway 16R contact tower when ready.” (If someone requests a frequency change after taxi, the correct command is “you were already instructed to change frequency”, found at the bottom of misc. messages”)

Anyway, I hope to test you more in the future, keep watching those #tutorials and practicing! Best of luck on your ATC journey!

I was at Approach and Departure and not ground and tower @8SmartFlying

oops, better specify next time then.

also I recommend practicing tower/ground first.

Its just Tower and Ground weren’t available when I joined @8SmartFlying

Approach & Departure

Runways in use: 24L & 24R landings | 25L & 25R Takeoffs

Notams:

File a flight plan prior to requesting taxi unless doing patterns.

Hey! Nice to see that you are opening a huge airport. Just some advice: It’s better so open at smaller airports so you are not bombarded by 100 people at KLAX or any other major airport. Also, you can’t really fly patterns with 100 people landing at the same time. Just some advice to make your ATC tracking thread great! I hope you have fun controlling!

Knowing KLAX, you should pick a smaller airport. CYYZ is nice ;)
