KLM at Victorville

KLM blue always stands out.
Also in the worst circumstances imaginable for an aircraft.

I have no idea when Google took this images, but here you can clearly see two KLM MD-11 aircraft.
The one on the bottom of the image is awaiting the same fate as the one in the square area at the top. What a way to go.
Such a sad sight. :(

This ruined my day 😪

Sorry!! :(

Sad :(

If you want to know when the picture was taken, then go on a desktop PC and download / open up the Google Earth application and zoom right in on the location.

The bottom right hand corner shows details of the image provider, and often the month and year the photo was taken.

I’ve been in it two times: from Suriname to the Netherlands and back. I think it was on 2010/2011.

And for you Jan it is especially sad to see this

😢

I guess this is where spares come for Fedex and UPS MD-11s.

I saw a very sad video on YouTube, the goodbye-flight of the MD11.

If you are going to cry, don’t click on the link!

breaks my heart:(

Need parts to keep the other remaining tri-holers alive! It’s like organ donation. Don’t be so upset.

This picture… ;-;

You can check the imagery date.
Get google earth and go the location, there will be a "Date Taken : DD/MM/YYYY " at the bottom ;)
