KLAX 24R and 24L

I just landed in KLAX for the first time since I started playing infinite Flight a month ago.
I was amazed, the airport is amazing, and there were lots of players albeit in the Casual Server.
But I noticed something I’m curious about, everyone was jostling to use 25R and 25L to land and take off.
The 24L and especially the 24R were fully neglected.
I took advantage to land on 24R without any traffic.
Makes me wonder, is there something about 25 R and L I don’t know about, or was I landing on a “wrong” runway for an Airline?

You weren’t landing on the wrong runway. 24R is used as a landing runway IRL.

People particularly love 25R, probably because its the longest and close to the terminals

Whenever I do a flight from LAX. I always do a SID from 24L… whilst everyone wants to be seen (all only using 25R for departure and arrival) I’m airborne in no time. 🤣😂🛫 @Harrybanty

Typically, 25L and 24R are the ones used for landings and 25R and 24L for take offs except when one is closed.

As for airlines, it doesn’t truly matter some American planes (who use T4 and 5) land on 24R and Southwest (who use T1) land on 25L

It really depends on arrival procedure mostly (thats my assumption)

Usually most people take advantage of the 25’s as it’s the busiest and has the most traffic.

I personally prefer a little challenge so I like using 24’s as they’re as long as the 25’s.

I’m also a realism police officer meaning that if I were to use United Airlines but land on 24R I would take the longer taxi route to terminal 7/8.

But in the end I’d say most people use 25’s just because of the traffic plus the runway is longer so it’s easier to stop on!
