KJFK Hold Short Lines

Not like it’s technically needed, but the first picture is the one of the taxiways prior to the intersection between 4L-22R and 13R-31L.

I was curious about is the “design”—for lack of better words—at the intersection. When you exit the runway and hold short prior to (in this case) 22L-4R, are you supposed to not cross the imaginary line that I drew in red?

Blue is the hold short line. What you have circled in red is called an “enhanced taxiway centerline” and is used to signify approaching a hold short line.

Okay, sorry, that’s what I thought. I just wanted to make sure. Since I still feeling like I messed up, so this is the correct point to hold short prior to a runway?

That’s the correct point to hold. The Hold lines signify the boundary of the runway safety area. Anytime all or part of an aircraft is inside the orange area, it is considered to be on the runway.
