Feel free to hop in as I take control of WSSS’ frequencies.
Make sure you list which server. Cheers
Will come over now. 😏
Real quick thing. When someone is remaining in the pattern, you dont give them a pattern entry. You can just sequence, then clear
Thank you all for coming :)
Feedback:
-
I was given very late landing clearance. You should have cleared me way earlier. I shouldn’t have to report final to remind you to clear me.
-
Whilst remaining in the pattern, you don’t need to give me pattern entry instructions. However, I will need a sequence.
-
When I had to do a 360, it would have been easier for you to tell the traffic in front of me “I’ll call your base” and then “turn base”, and told me to extend downwind instead.
-
When departing the airspace I should have been given a frequency change immediately. I shouldn’t have needed to request one.
-
I don’t need to be told “cleared for the option, make right traffic” when I am already making right traffic. You only need to tell me this when you are changing the direction of the traffic I need to make, or when I am originally being cleared for takeoff.

One last thing, when I announced inbound for landing, I was cleared for the option, make left traffic. I should have just been cleared to land and all would be easier. Being cleared for the option isn’t actually wrong though.

Thank you for the service!
Stick to one frequency, it started to get a little crowded and it only takes a few rotten apples to ruin your rhythm, attention and patience. Otherwise, you are on your way! Thanks Kizzy, onward and upward.
Thank you @ewanfleming and @American232 for your feedback. I’ll definitely work on the demerits.
Okay, a few quick things. You may already know this but you may not, so just in case you don’t I will explain. When I took off, if you knew ahead of time I was going to be number 1 and the plane behind me was going to be number 2, you can clear me number 1 right after I take off, then when plane two takes off you can immediately sequence them number 2 traffic to follow is “xxxxxxx”. That was plane 1 is cleared and number 2 knows exactly who to follow. This way you have time to deal with other traffic. Then go back and clear #2 plane. You can do that as early as you want as well.
I know for me, you cleared me on final a couple times. You can clear me as early as you want, especially if I’m the only plane inbound to that runway. It just makes it easier not to forget to clear someone (been there done that haha)
And just a few minor details:
At one point “number 1 cleared for the option, after the option make right traffic” you don’t need to tell me to make right traffic since Ive already been in the pattern making right traffic. It’s just extra words to clutter up the frequency. If you wanted me to change my patterns and make left traffic, then you’d send that, otherwise I’m supposed to keep making the same right turn every time.
Now, if I changed runways, then you’d have to give me a make left or right traffic - new runway, new instruction
Also, even though I know there are a million things going on all around, i never got an exit runway command. On my end, I never called in full stop. It isn’t required on the pilots end but I usually do it anyway as a courtesy to the controller. However, if someone is cleared for the option, it’s always best to watch their speed on the runway to anticipate a full stop and then give exit command if it looks like their coming to a stop.
Other than that, it seemed good on my end! Just little details that you can perfect as you practice!
Thank you for your feedback :)
I don’t have all the answers, but if you ever have any questions feel free to PM me and I’ll see if I can help!
London seems empty on TS1.
