Kilo Mike India Alpha to Tango Juliet Sierra Juliet

After trying to make a flight from Miami to San Juan the day the MAX came out (and crashing on landing like an idiot 😫😫) I’ve decided to come back to this route one more time. It’s really a beautiful route and one that connects two of my favorite cities in the whole wide world. Also, TJSJ is finally 3D now, a well-kept secret and treat for Puerto Rico lovers like me (I’m not Puerto Rican, but I do love it there).

Spawned in at Terminal D in my (former 😭) home airport: Miami! Our aircraft today just arrived home after a flight to Medellín 🇨🇴 and will continue the Latin vibes by taking us to San Juan 💃

Taxiing past another American MAX, this one on its way to Cartagena. Safe flight my friend!

Taking off from Runway 26L. Taxi was short from the relatively close Terminal D so we got in the air very quickly after spawning in. Satisfying!

Positive rate, gear up! Infinite Passengers didn’t even have to remind me this time.

View in climbout from a passenger window. Thank goodness for in-flight WiFi, or else our poor friend wouldn’t have been able to post this in real time.

Cruise was cool, but boring tbch. I would attach a photo but I need the space.

Land ho! Puerto Rico looks so nice from 30,000 feet 👌

View of our descent into SJU. It’s beautiful, really.

50, 40, 30, 20, 10… And touchdown! Landing was definitely not butter but it also wasn’t terrible! I’ll get better at landing as time goes on I’m sure.

Parked at Terminal B in San Juan. What a fantastic little flight!

I definitely enjoyed myself and I hope you did too looking at my pictures. Which was your favorite?

Don’t you think that the gear was raised a bit too early?

I don’t think so lol. Some 787s automatically retract the gear as soon as they become airborne
