I keep getting kicked out of my flights and when I quickly try and go back to resume it, it will either reset the flight and I will lose all of my progress or it wont let me rejoin because it says " flight already started on other device " please fix this I have literally lost like 20 hours of my life due to this.
As in your game crashes?

No, sometimes I will accidentally click one of my notifications and when I quickly go back to IF it just… Ends my flight, as if it never even happened. No xp, no replay, no nothing.

You can’t really pause your aircraft on multiplayer. If you leave the app, it will not save. The one exception to this is flight resume, but it only works when you meet a few checks of criteria in terms of flight information… basically just be far from your arriving airport at cruising altitude.

Normally the “flight started on other device” goes away after a couple minutes

Unless you’re flying a Dash 8 or something below 280 can’t you just use flight resume?

I’m not sure what you mean…flight resumes are saved live (unless something’s changed in the last 3 months) so you should still be able to access the last save point. I know I’ve had device crashes on final and it allows me to just reload the approach again.

For me both times the global server showed up as red and then suddenly the app cut out, despite having full wifi and then I was able to resume the flight.

Well it does let me resume but as a new flight so if I ended it after the resume it would say I only flew like 1 minute and the other like 2 hours I flew would just disappear
Yes, that is how flight resume works. The hours you fly and xp before the crash are automatically credited to your account as the flight goes so a crash doesn’t cause any stat reduction, as far as I know.
