KIAH Nonexistent Visibility

Hey folks, if any of y’all want to know what it feels like to taxi around with your nose smudged against the device screen internally pondering “how did I get myself here” well then come by KIAH.
The visibility is so bad and so nonexistent that…well let my photos share the truth.

For those who obviously cannot tell, this is an outside shot of my aircraft. Where is the aircraft you might ask? In the primordial soup as shown here ;)

Oh my I’m 20minutes away from KIAH

Lots of showers and fog in the Houston area, it should be moving out around 12 today.

If you’re going to land there, better have autoland equipeed because you ain’t landing otherwise lol. I didn’t even know I’d touched down because I couldn’t see one foot outside the cockpit window. All I had was the system’s “100…50…40…30” messages to alert me lol.

Good for you. I had no clue it was happening. Beautiful skies, gorgeous sunrise, and suddenly BAM like I dove into a bowl of clam chowder.

Now you see the pain of this bad vis haha. It’s truly the worst I’ve ever seen in terms of visibility.

I have 100% visibility

Hmm…that’s weird maybe it updated the servers and the fog went away?

Auto land will most definitely be required in these conditions if you want to have a safe landing.

Happy landings and good luck!
