Feedback for YU-MMY

  • Transition altitude was incorrect. To calculate this: airport elevation + 2500 rounded up to the nearest 500ft. This case it would be: 6200 + 2500 = 8700. Round up to 9000ft.
  • Frequency change was issued late for Delta 748, aim for 1/2 mile off the departure.
  • No exit command. This should be at 60-70kts.

Ok thanks, I knew that the transition was a little low. It’s been a while since I’ve done ATC. Again, thanks for the feedback!

Other Feedback:

  • First clearance was a little late, try sending those a little earlier like around late crosswind or early downwind

  • Landing clearance when I was on final was not needed but I understand why it was sent

  • No exit runway, try sending those at around 80-70 kts

  • Clearance was late which was why I reported downwind, that should have been sent earlier
