KCLT Airport Run/Spotting!

Disclaimer,Quality is really bad.

Video

Soo, today I went out to the annual KCLT 5K Airport Run. Although it’s supposed to be a 5K race, I took advantage of the spotting opportunities and pretty much took pics along the course. After the race, I went to the Airport Overlook which gives u incredible spotting opportunities and luckily, R36C was loaded with traffic.

Here r the Pics

Nice! They do one of those in Sydney too. Wish I could do it, but I’m in Melbourne.

That must’ve been a great experience just walking around the ramp. Nice pics too.

Nice. I wish KDEN did that

Yep that oldie is a nice catch!

Awesome… I wonder why is there so much American Airlines. There is also a hangar. Could you tell me the name of the airport? Thanks

Charlotte Douglas International Airport, AA has a hub here, that’s why you see so many

The American Airlines A330 was parked during the run.
The photo was taken with an iPhone 10. Alright, I’ll admit it. I used a little bit of photoshop to make the colors look nicer. :)

I may post more pictures from the run and the Overlook as they become available; we’ll see…

[EDIT: the registration of that aircraft is N271AY. (I’m looking at you, @Rynjil_H :D)]

Pretty sure the last pic is of an AA A319-100

I’m talking about this photo @racerclc, it’s too short to be an A320. It’s probably an A319

Oh, sorry :)

I wish I had been able to do the KPIT one, running, and plane spotting, what more could you want?
