KC-46 Pegasus

Although the 767 lost in the most recent rework poll, the devs did say it would be reworked at some point. Why not add the USAF’s newest tanker aircraft when it gets it’s much needed rework?

Boeing KC-46 Pegasus is an American military [aerial refuelling] and strategic [military transport aircraft] developed by [Boeing] from its [767]. In February 2011, the tanker was selected by the [United States Air Force] (USAF) as the winner in the [KC-X tanker competition] to replace older [Boeing KC-135 Stratotankers].

As stated, the KC-46 is derived from the Boeing 767. It has modern avionics like the 787 or A350, giving a good combination of an old iconic aircraft mixed with the advanced technology of modern aviation. It could be added as a livery, an example of this being the KC-10 livery on the DC-10F.

With the KC-10 out of service, this is a must have! You got my vote!

Mine too. It’s about time we get a tanker the USAF still flies! And I see this is having a much greater chance than the KC-135 of getting added
