Please note: the DC-10/KC-10/MD-11 is not departing Infinite Flight (as far as I know,) just (irl) active service in the USAF.
Summary
Coinciding with the real life event hosted by the Air Force at Travis Air Force Base, I’d like to celebrate BIG SEXY’s quarter century of service by generally gathering as many as we can in Infinite Flight.
Guaranteed
- I will be performing at least a few runs of my KC-10 Demonstration over the course of the two days.
- Since it’ll be hosted on the Training Server, I’ll do my best to otherwise provide ATC for anyone who’d like to fly in.
Ideas
- If you have yet to experience the air-to-air refueling mechanic, I’d be glad to oblige. :)

Team Travis will celebrate the final farewell for the KC-10 Extender in a two-day event Sept. 25-26, 2024.
After decades of service, the KC-10, assigned to the 60th Air Mobility Wing and 349th AMW, will be decommissioned during various final farewell events hosted by Col. Jay Johnson, 60th AMW commander.
After entering service in 1981, the KC-10 aircraft will be fully divested in September 2024. The 60th Air Mobility Wing is the last host wing for the KC-10. As the KC-10 concludes its mission, the airframe will be replaced by the KC-46A Pegasus, providing Team Travis the capabilities to begin a new era of air-to-air refueling.
