KASE NOTAM Incorrect

I noticed today that the NOTAM for aircraft restrictions at KASE (Aspen - Pitkin County Airport) is incorrect. It reads “aircraft larger than CRJ-900 not authorized (A220 & A320/737 series aircraft too large). Unauthorized aircraft MUST divert.” Normally, the only commercial aircraft allowed is indeed the CRJ-900. However, in the past, BBJ 737s have been allowed into the airport. It doesn’t happen often, but it does happen.

Could the NOTAM be amended so people can do this?

Its due to the wingspan. Without the winglets it meets the 95 ft wingspan restrictions. IF’s BBJs have winglets.

Could you theoretically get an E175 into ASE? We have some private liveries that could be flown into Aspen.

I believe the NOTAM is correct. The source you linked dates back to 2018, and the last time a BBJ landed there was over six years ago. It doesn’t make sense to change the NOTAM for that reason. Additionally, we have many aircraft options in the app that are compatible with operating there.
