I have started practicing my ATC skills and have been learning lots over the past weeks, thanks to my invaluable mentor. I will announce In this thread where I have opened and for how long I plan to stay. Would really appreciate your kind feedback and any tips you may have.
singapore 2 4 1 0 got you good, he did a high pass over the airport. Check altitude and speed before issuing the exit runway command.
From the start!
Taxi command, Good
Hold short, great, since you didn’t want a nose to nose air collision.
Take off, great you said right traffic that’s good.
Change in runways, the initial pattern entry was good, “enter right downwind Runway 02L”, but there was no need for the “enter right base” command since i was already patterned.
clearance, you cleared me to land, idk why, next time when someone changes runways and they’re doing patterns you should give a “cleared for the option” with a “left or right traffic” depending on the runway. When i did the touch and go you issued me a enter right downwind Runway 02L, which really isn’t needed. Especially when i need to cut across another runway.
Next time when issuing a plane to enter the left runway for patterns, tell them make left traffic, if it’s the right runway make right traffic. This just avoids pilots cutting across another runways upwind.

Taxiing- good, although could have given a give way to aircraft command due to possible wing strike if I did not stop myself. I assume the taxi to 36/18 was changed due to wind fluctuations?
Clearances- alright. The takeoff was definitely not ok (not trying to sound rude sorry 😂) as there was an aircraft turning base/final for the opposing runway I was taking off towards, which later caused a 100ft(approx) separation between us when in the air. I understand this was most likely caused by the wind changes and him being in the pattern for rwy36 and me for 18 which would have been hard to change
With these wind changes I’m not sure on what the procedures are, I assume just have aircraft in a pattern for the same runway, unlike what happened there.
Sequencing was spot on, A+ for thinking ahead and moving @Jet_Airways_995 ahead of Me since he was in a fighter
You did miss giving pattern instructions after rwy changes I think twice, first one you caught yourself 2nd time missed it
Other then that it was perfect from what I saw :)
i personally have never seen pattern work on parallel rwys where aircrafts were heading in opposite directions like that, I’m not sure on the procedures for that kind of thing but besides that separation issue with myself and @alphabravo6, you handled the traffic well :)
When the wind is a perfect 90 degree crosswind, a small direction change can change the colour of the runway. The trick here is to not change runways every time the wind changes the favourable runways. Thats unmanageable, for everyone. The ATC decides on the Active runway(s), not the wind. The runway colour only shows which runway is favourable for the wind.
But…on Training Server its hard to get pilots to taxi or land on red runways, and you may end up battling disobedient pilots…
