I would like to request for kam air to be added on the 737-800 since this is the only 737 that they operated and one that we have in the game.

Kam Air is the largest private Afghan airline. Founded in 2003, Kam Air has 11 aircraft and a workforce of over 800 people, operating scheduled domestic passenger services throughout Afghanistan and international services to destinations in Central Asia, South Asia, and West Asia. Its hub is located at Kabul International Airport.

Sadly the airline doesn’t operate the 737-800 anymore but it used to operate a total of 3 738 from 2006 up until 2017 leased from AirExplore and Pegasus.

Hope to see the first Afghan airline added soon.

Now since the livery is just a orange stripe on the fuselage and an orange tail, it shouldn’t be that hard to make the livery and add it.

Hopefully we can see this livery added before the new Live feature comes out.

I know. I did make a request for the A320 but no luck so far.

Kam Air doesnt have any B738 in their fleet, so this feature request is invalid through the existing rules. They only operate A343, B733 and a singular B735.

Yes we know but it did exist IRL so it’s not fictional. But I don’t know the rules on that. But hey they approved it.

Yes but still, there is no point in whatsoever requesting it. I am an Afghan and I would love to see any livery of any afghan carrier, but IF does not have any representative aircraft for the fleet of Kam Air. The onky one is the A343 in which may be a possibility to see in IF, but other then that it is unnecessary to have it.

Yeah but even if it doesn’t exist IRL I’d still want them. I mean I my self don’t really stick to that much of realism anyway​:joy:.

And at this point some of them have been requested for almost a decade so I’d want them no matter if they exist anymore or not.

What do you mean the -800 is in the game. I know kam air doesn’t have them but IF does.

Its not a representative model mate, they use the 300/500 which is classic series and the only comparable model is 737-700 in which doesnt cut it.

We have Kai Tak airport… why can’t we have a previously operated plane that no longer flies?

I know but this is a request for the -800 wich we have so technically they could add. Also as of now there is currently no sign of the -500/-300 coming to the game anytime soon. So we might as well enjoy the livery on the -800.

You are missing the whole point. There is no point in adding a livery that was used barely on a wet-leased B738. The same was with the AJet A320 livery that Mike.Tango posted a few months back. I said it was not worth it as the livery is painted tail only and not full body, which hints at a leased (wet/dry).

The particular aircraft that was in service with Kam Air is a former Pegasus TC-APU, which was leased to Kam Air in 2007 November till May 2008, only a few months, just like an AJet A320. There is no point in requesting liveries that are not part of an airline’s “original” fleet, even if that aircraft is available in Infinite Flight. Its better to wait until a more representative aircraft that fits the livery.

Imo, spare the votes for this one, and vote for an A343 extension, and you may have even a bigger chance of getting Kam Air on that aircraft as they have a few of them in the fleet.
