Can I takeoff from Kai Tak airport on Expert servers or will i get ghosted?

You can takeoff from whatever airport you wish. As long as your aircraft is capable of taking off from that runway and is capable of taxiing around the airport without your gear hanging over into the grass aprons.

That is correct. You could take off in a 747 even. I believe 747’s were operating there in the real world application before the field was ultimately shut down.

You can can fly anywhere on expert from any airport as long as you use the appropriate aircraft for the airport your at and follow ATC commands if they are controlling.
Did they change it back to class Charlie yet or is it still class Echo? Because I thought a 747 couldnt go there yet until next Scenery update

I think @ewanfleming changed it back, but he said it wouldn’t update until the next scenery push, not sure whether there’s been one since he’s said that.

If I recall, the scenery updates are once per month. So if not this month, then next for sure

Not yet because this is what its saying right now when I spawn with a 747 so I guess it should be soon in this upcoming scenery update

To correct you there, FDS does a final pull from the IFAET database on the 22nd. FDS tends to push the new navigation/airport update a week or so after that pull.

It was also one of the most dangerous approaches ever as when pilots were coming down they could see inside people windows… they just keep growing the buildings so they built a new one on land where there was nothing around
