Two days ago, I began resuming test flights for the 737-900 at Orlando (like usual). Normally, I would fly to Atlanta, but I realized Simbrief could actually file a decent flight plan that loops right back to the starting airport. I may start doing more of this (I won’t forget you Atlanta, trust ). Was really light that day, some moderate crosswinds, and such. Anyways, let me walk you through my journey.
Summary
Route: KMCO (Orlando) - KMCO (Orlando)

Here’s our plane. Just doing a quick walk around to make sure everything’s looking good.
Pushback!
Engine start, takeoff flaps of 5° set, and flight controls checked.
Taxied and held short runway 17R.
Rotation, and we’re off! Take a close look at how much rudder I used
We’ve reached 39,000 feet, flying past the western coast of Florida.
Circling back now to Orlando.
Coming in on right downwind, runway 17L
Touchdown! Let’s get this bird back to the gate.
Just pulled into the gate. I also found a LATAM B77W getting ready to fly to Sao Paulo.
Well, I hope you enjoyed this. Thanks for viewing!
