Junkers Ju 87B-2

Designed by Hermann Polhmann after a visit of Ernst Udet to the US in 1935, it saw its first combats on the Spanish Civil War. Ugly, slow and capable of performing an almost 90° dive bombing while its two Jericho sirens howled, it will be remembered as the most iconic symbol of the German Blitzkrieg of 1939 to 1942.
