Cathay Pacific first launched its Hong Kong–Urumqi route in 2025, opening a direct air link between Asia’s financial hub and Xinjiang’s emerging center, offering travelers a seamless gateway to the culture, trade, and natural beauty of China’s western frontier.
This airport has been reworked by the Infinite Flight Project China Team and added to Infinite Flight in the latest 26.1 update.

About Project China
The ultimate goal is to make most of the airports in China 3D (Some cannot be done for various reasons). Airports with outdated layouts will also receive updates in the future. We strive for precise real-life representation, and it’s ensured by constant quality control and timely update.
The general goal is to have 1 major airport and 2-3 small to medium airports done every release cycle. However, it’s not guaranteed that they all make their way to the next release.
We will not take requests at this time but will try to cater to community needs.
