In 2024, for the first time, El Dorado International Airport - Bogotá, Colombia - surpassed São Paulo Guarulhos and Benito Juaréz to become the busiest airport in Latin America. Located at an altitude of 8.622ft, high speeds during approach and surrounding mountainous landscape become a challenge for variety of flights operating at this airport daily. Seeking to shake up region’s scenery, GOL Intelligent Virtual Airlines chose this place as stage for a new major meeting.

The event will take place on Saturday, June 14. The proposal is to fly into El Dorado, so choose your flight and plan accordingly. There are many options for routes and airlines, including GOL. You can check our old or seasonal routes below. If a VA partner chooses to fly with another company or route, they will be welcome.
The airport offers use of Point Merge - a traffic control procedure with arcs to facilitate direction and sequence of aircraft in moments of greater intensity, helping to avoid congestion. We have selected 5 STARS and 5 SIDs that separate traffic for both available runways, 20 charts in total. We enforce use/reading charts for better fluidity in airspace.
