Hi All,

With the new joystick feature released, I’m interested in knowing how others are using joysticks or other controllers.

What do you use?

  • Gamepad
  • Keyboard

  • Joystick on Left (use with left hand)

My setup:

Nexus 7 tablet
Old crappy RaiderPro Digital joystick that is worth about $2 now.

I like to use the joystick on the left for a more PIC feel. But if I set up the slider on my joystick for throttle, it is on the left side of the stick. So partly my “It’s ok” answer is just due to my equipment.

I’d also like to get the controller apps working on the PC for network-based controllers through the InfiniteFlight Connect. That would allow easier use of multiple controllers/keyboard.

Overall a step in the right direction I think!

I would like to use the keyboard with the iPad pro. It would be just like desktop sim then

I appreciate that, but at the moment anything development or IF related isn’t too high of a priority (studies first right now). Hope you understand - I will try and have something ready ASAP for you :)

If anyone else is using a joystick (or has a joystick they wish they could use with IF), what kind is it?
