Joystick support for Long Haul Flights

How do you manage a connected joystick with long haul flights ?

Startet a 5 hour flight to Osaka, and 15 minutes before touchdown I have to plug in the AC Adapter (Battery at 5%) but when I re-plug in the Joystick in my Samsung Tablet I have no controls !

Any ideas / advice ?

I only use my joystick via network with infinite flight connect. If I’m flying when not home then I don’t use the joystick at all.
