Version
iOS Beta – Build 15745
⸻
Aircraft
F/A-18
⸻
Description
After the recent beta update, the roll/pitch joystick can become stuck when performing aggressive maneuvers with large control inputs.
This issue already existed before, and it is still present after the latest update.
When the joystick gets stuck, the aircraft continues rolling or pitching without returning to center, which directly leads to loss of control and crash.
This happens especially during high-deflection, fast joystick movements (e.g. sharp pulls, rolls, or high-G maneuvers).
⸻
Steps to Reproduce
1\. Select the F/A-18
2\. Take off and gain some speed
3\. Perform aggressive maneuvers with large roll and pitch joystick inputs
(fast full-deflection movements)
4\. Observe the joystick behavior
⸻
Expected Behavior
The joystick should always smoothly return to center after input, allowing full control of the aircraft.
⸻
Actual Behavior
The joystick sometimes becomes stuck in a deflected position and does not recentre, causing continuous roll/pitch and eventual crash.
⸻
Additional Notes
• Occurs more often during extreme or fast control inputs
• Still present after the latest beta update
• Attached screenshot shows joystick stuck position after crash
This appears to be related to joystick input handling under rapid or extreme deflection conditions.
