ANOTHER TRIP ACROSS AFRICA!

We departed FAOR (thanks to some excellent ATC skills from @Ramzi_Khairan bound for the Kenyan capital at the helm of this 787-8, named “The Great Rift Valley” by Uhuru Kenyatta, the president of the republic.

This aircraft (5Y-KZA) is one of 8 787s that Kenya Airways operates and they opted for it to take over the job of their now retired 767 fleet, to provide a more fuel efficient way of getting around.

I have done this one before (in both directions) in screenshots but the diversity of the scenery on this route means that no shot is the same! Did anyone see the family of Baboons?

Departure: FAOR (O.R. Tambo International Airport, Johannesburg, South Africa).
Arrival: HKJK (Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, Nairobi, Kenya).
Flight time: 3 hours 35 minutes.
Server: Expert.

Notes: As always, no hard editing was done to the photos, just some personal preference slight changes to the light and contrast and working with what is available – nothing fake added or taken away.

Good times

Nice pictures. Correction, they have 9 787s instead of the 8 stated. Either way, nice to see someone enjoying Africa :)
