At JFK airport, on certain days when the weather conditions are permitting, aircraft will do a split approach, with aircraft from the US, Carribean, Central and S. America landing on Rwy 13L, and international arrivals from Europe landing on 22L, while using 13R for all takeoffs. (Anyone near JFK knows that there are a few exceptions) But does anyone have a hometown airport, or know of any other airport that does this? I’m very curious to know of any others.
I think Haneda airport does this as well.
Yes I’ve heard of Haneda’s interesting split turn approach. I’ve seen it on FR24.
