Thanks for your opinion, it is a old 55-250MM IS STM lens that is already a few years old, at 1/800 shutter speed.
I think maybe your shutter speed isn’t fast enough. Or the sharpening isn’t good enough. But this is a pretty nice picture, it has a lot of potential
Wow, this isnice. If you want to make up for its optical shortreally nice. If you want to make up for its optical shortcomings, you could try adding some more sharpening!
I just got a new Sigma 150-500mm so it’s a lot nicer than my old Tamron 18-270mm.
Telling me THIS IS NOT BACKLIT
AND THIS IS
Ignore the editing, The photo was used for something else. There was a more natural photo that I got rid of but you get the concept.
Both of them are frontlit (so no backlit imo)
But the Emirates does indeed look less backlit than the Etihad
I have no competence to even attempt Jetphotos, but the 787 definitely does look a little backlit. There’s barely any light on the side you’re shooting. A good idea might be to recreate the conditions in IF, and then see how the other side looks. Looking the tail is also a great indicator regarding backlit shots.
The 787 looks toplit imo, the A350 seems fine
both shots are lit
I mean… it is possible, this got rejected for contrast (which is absurd given its jetphotos and it never says no to too much contrast) and it did get through.
shameless plug ik
The photo is pretty! No contrast problem definitely. They do make a right decision at the appeal process
how is it that clear? every wing shot i try to take, the window looks like it hasnt been cleaned since y2k
Honestly that’s just a matter of luck. The window doesn’t have to be completely clean, just a little part where it is and that’s already enough
Q link X4G: Underexposed (under a cloud, best not to even try)
Q link X4K, jetstar: Low in frame, looks good though
Virgin: I would personally add some brightness but looks fine in general.
What classifies as low in frame? I am an untrained eye so forgive me, but X4K looks pretty well balanced.
The part over the plane is bigger than the one under. The plane has to be centered both horizontally and vertically on the frame
okkk thanks for the explanation
Along with what Kairi said, they’re all too tight. Need some more breathing room on left and right. But the last 3 have a good base.
