What’s Next? Nothing much new, wish the non-mint planes like the a220 will get this. Maybe they will!

Supposedly they will based on how the next aircraft is phrased on their website

idk if this is the right place for this, but I decided to recently look up the registration of a plane I flew multiple times in 2021, N231JB.

I was wondering if anyone knew the status on this aircraft. It’s luckily not retired (yet)… but it’s last flight was 4 weeks ago, and it seems to be sitting at MCN airport; which is where JetBlue paints their planes (to my knowledge). Does anyone know why this plane is here? Could it be for training purposes possibly? Idk, I’d just love to see this plane visit me at jfk before the e190s are all gone in JetBlues fleet.

So they aren’t really training E190 pilots due to the fact that their being phased out but it could be painted to another Blue print while it is still in service, that aircraft should be phased out in the last group

All of the E190’s that have been flown to MCN are most likely not returning at all :(

It already has a pretty snazzy livery because of peacock. Not sure if it will receive mint livery.

504 WAS PAINTED? That plane is the oldest A320 in service with JetBlue now!
I saw it at LGA in January 2024. Still had it’s “Blueberries” livery! Thanks for the info!

Was this the last blueberry a320?

One of the last, I believe. Maybe the last.

I know JetBlue goes to KMCN for repainting, but where do they go for deep maintenance/cleaning?

Btw what do you guys think this was all about? One of the last blueberry liveries… hope it’s not gonna be retired :(
