JetBlue bans passenger who notified crew after landing that he'd tested positive for coronavirus

A passenger on a JetBlue flight from JFK to Palm Beach, Florida notified a crew that they had tested postive for coronavirus… AFTER landing.

Then… he was banned for life to fly with the airline.

Wow. Im not sure how loyal that customer is to JetBlue, but that must’ve been devastating. I can’t imagine myself being banned from an airline that I frequently fly with.

JetBlue’s statement regarding this:
“Last night’s event put our crewmembers, customers, and federal and local officials in an unsettling situation that could have easily been avoided, and as such, this customer will not be permitted to fly on JetBlue in the future,”

This goes the same regarding the coronavirus situation:

People get banned on airlines all the time for all sorts of reasons. Nothing new… 🙂
