Jet bridge go wrong door

I think many airports have the same problem.

if i have big airplane for example A350 or B777. if a gate that can for big airplane. but only have a jet bridge. so the flight will always go to no L2 door in airplane.

but the winch does not. it always go to door no L1 in airplane

I hope it can update it to correct

This is something that depends on the airport and airline, so actually it wouldn’t be correct for every widebody to have this. There is a feature request for customizable gse connections, I would go check that out as it’s similar to this

Jetbridges automatically attach to 2L door for widebody and 757 aircraft

The first picture attached is an A330 spawned at a gate in JFK in its correct parking position and you can see it is at quite an awkward angle to attach to the 1L door. That’s because most widebody aircraft as well as the 757 attach to the 2L door like shown in the other 3 photos. Somehow I managed to get it to attach to the 2L door while in OGG and the IRL picture is how jetbridges are attached to the 757 IRL. The last picture is also how jetbridges attach at LHR in IF which is standard practic…
