Jay003’s ATC Tracking Thread - [CLOSED] [PRACTICAL PASSED]

not really, the transition must have a 1000ft difference with the pattern alt which is 1527ft here so people will usually put 1500ft (in this case it would work) but also 1600ft in their AP which will cause a 900ft bust with the transition so to be sure, always round up. It’s better to have a solid transition at 3000ft with 1400ft separation to the pattern alt from some planes than cause a bust by being too risky and put 2500ft 😉

IFATC testers and trainers will most likely accept either 2500 or 3000 for transition altitude for an airport at near sea level. Discussion of this matter can be found here:

I Passed My Practical!!

I am so happy to officially say that I am now part of IFATC. I passed my practical test today!

I can’t thank @Trey my recruiter, for getting me started in IFATC, and attending my practical, and being super helpful!
I also can’t thank enough my trainer, @TaipeiGuru, who trained me all the way to where I am now with ATC. Both of these people helped me to pass and become IFATC. Thank you so much!
