Hey everyone! If you don't know, I am already an IFATC Specialist. I will have to wait a minimum of 60 days in order for me to promote to an Officer to control Approach. In the meanwhile, I will be opening every few days or so at an airport to improve my knowledge of Radar Controlling.
You can fly ILS, GPS, or the Visual approach, or you can do patterns (also known as radar patterns)
GPS: Flying with an FPL into the airport ILS: Using APPR (Autopilot) on the runway into the airport Visual: Flying based off of the pilot’s vision
Please make sure I do not guide you toward terrain. If you get below 1000 feet AGL, let me know :) I also appreciate everyone’s help on helping me become a controller, it means a lot!
