it’s been a while since we’ve seen any new WIPs of the Neos or have received any new informations about AP+ or other upcoming features.
For me, AP+ will have a deep impact to my daily life since I can do more IRL without the need of thinking about my flight (even as an intense IF Remote user) and even do more IFATC cause it can finally be done next to a AP+ flight. So I really struggle to wait patiently for it.
I know, the update will come when it’s ready and IF Staff will never give us any details about when it will finally drop, but what’s goin on? How’s the progress goin on? Give us something! We’re looking forward to a new update
Every day I’m looking in the AppStore and pray for IF to appear in the update section.
You know this kind of reminds of the 777-200 and 737 update. Don’t think it’s coming until
late May or early June. There is probably gonna be teasers of other things in the meantime
the 25.1 update is gonna be huge and probably similar to that of the 777-200 and 737
update back in 2020 in terms of new features. The point is there is probably another plane
coming with the A320 Neo. And I personally think it’s the ATR72, A330-200 or A350-1000
as they said secret aircraft not rework.
It’s been said for every WIP that they will share details when they actually have anything new to share; if there’s nothing new, there’s no point in sharing details we already knew. If it’s quiet in that regard, the best thing to do is to just assume that “it’s going”. Whatever that is new, considering the fact that is a software development job, the chances that it will boring to the average person is certainly not zero
Regarding AutoPilot+, there probably isn’t much else to share. We have the blog article that explains the core functionality and I would imagine when it does release, they will probably answer some of the “common questions” regarding it.
Regarding the A320neo, we just have to be patient. No WIPs does not mean no progress.
I think it is the A330-200 cause RFS is releasing it today and RFS likes to copy what IF does
a lot when it comes to aircraft. They did that with the 777s, the A330-900 Neo and the E-jets
