Istanbul New Airport serves 16 Million in First 3 Months

Istanbul New Airport (LTFM) has been open for around 3 months already. They are serving as Turkish Airlines’ new main hub. In said 3 months, this state-of-the-art mega-sized airport has served 16 million people. That’s equivalent to over 1/4 of Frankfurt’s (EDDF) annual passenger traffic, about 1/8 of Atlanta Hartsfield-Jackson Airport’s traffic (KATL), and just about 1/4 of Istanbul Atatürk’s traffic (LTBA).

I mean most other airports that are the primary for a major global city probably do as high a rate, so I think a lot of people would see this coming frankly…
